lol its ight if you dont get what reelTalk is.
think of snapchat stories. but posted only for you,
today, everything is grabbing for our attention. we get little time for ourselves to reflect. so with such little time, whats the most efficient way to use it?
lets be honest, its hard to pop open a physical notebook, write with a pencil, and then carry that with you everywhere whenever you wanna flip back on it.
these days, everyone is posting content to entertain others… but , why not make it more meaningful?
here, let me tell you about my idea in the form of a journal entry:

here, let me tell you about my idea in the form of a journal entry:
- social media for people who aren’t bold
- social media posts (snapchats and ig stories) become our journal when we flip back on our life.
- the old photo album and the current one are very different
- you wouldn’t show your kids your WHOLE photo album lmao. or even your parents lmao.
- is that who we really are?
- me. i’m scared to post. I don’t really like attention.
- but I have thoughts that ik are valuable. but i’ll only say it to my wife.
- and people change. it’s easy to forget who you are or what you stand for or what’s really important to you. Thats what my wife helps me with a lot. Unless she reminds me, I have no real way to look back on my stuff.
- I started writing my thoughts down in the last 5 months or so. and it’s been super beneficial
- so I decided hey i’m gonna try to work on posting it more. so I made a threads j cuz it’s more lowkey lmao.
- but I saw when I go to post there, the way I type or try to make myself come off changes a bit. I fall back into what I want to be portrayed as. (ps, I acc found it helpful to write my posts in my notes app before even writing in the threads ui. j cuz im not in that “omg people are gonna see this” kinda mindset lmao)
- sometimes I wonder if this is something we’ve done to ourselves as a society. or am I the only one feeling this way.
- I just want to help people flip back on their life and what they stand for. so they can better resemble themselves. and live a better life with all their loved ones knowing who they are. and finding new loved ones too.
- and no.
- i’m not a professional about knowing yourself
- i’m just trying to find out
- but i’m the only one who knows ab myself.
- and I want to be a professional at that.
- privacy is utmost key here.
- otherwise there’s social media for that.
- private accounts on socials aren’t the same. that’s still relatively public cuz anyone can show anyone else.
- never profit on the data. it’s your information. not ours. we just want to help.
- and the idea of sharing your data obviously isn’t a safe mental head space to be yourself.
so overall mission: help people be themselves more genuinely.
